I was in my daughter’s first grade class yesterday volunteering. I noticed at one of the tables in the classroom (it was a table full of girls) they were having a debate regarding what school is better, U of M or MSU. Yes Rick’s daughter was a part of this debate. These are 6 and 7 year old girls and they each had very strong opinions on which school was better.
I found it quite humorous and refreshing that they were discussing these two colleges with such passion while they were working in class. I am a CMU graduate along with my husband, so we are not the reason Maddie likes a specific school. The thing I found so entertaining was that the girls who liked there particular school could not be swayed, even when other students put their “two cents in”. Hmmm, is this a little how women go about choosing a new home or what community they want to live in? I know I did. I had specific requirements for our home and that was that.
We, at Echelon Homes, believe that women (of all ages) have certain requirements they will not go without when choosing a new home. Whether it is granite countertops, cabinet ideas or storage needs, the Echelon Homes Team will work closely with you to help you find the right home to fit your needs. That is why we are not simply open to suggestions or ideas on what new home features you may be looking for, we welcome them.
Now whether you are a Spartan or a Wolverine is up to you. However, building a new home is major undertaking. I believe this group of young ladies will do just fine when it comes to making home buying choices in the very distant future (I’m not ready for Maddie to grow up that fast).
Next time you are searching for that perfect community to call home visit our Commerce Township community, The Hills of Loon Lake or our Twin Pines community in Lyon Township. Please let our staff know what you want in a new home so we can better serve our customers,. We are always looking for ways to make our homes better. Thank you.
