The parade begins at the BECC (old Scranton School) at the corner of Main and Church Streets at 10:00 AM on July 4th.
22nd Annual Salute to America at Greenfield Village is a four-day celebration loaded with fun for the entire family. There will be games and activities for kids, festive holiday food from The Henry Ford’s award-winning culinary staff, music by Detroit Symphony Orchestra, the U.S. Army Field Band, Concert Band and Soldiers’ Chorus and more. 2015 Oakland County Fair kicks off in just four days! This annual fair is chockfull of activities including the Show Me Safari Petting Zoo; circus pages; racing pigs; the globe of death; a lumberjack show; Big Rock Carnival; mounted shooting demonstration; freestyle dog show; Pinewood Derby; Figure 8 Races; Miracle of Birth Barn; Alpaca show and much more! There will even be a performance by the Children’s Theatre of Michigan Performance on Tuesday, July 7th. Check the schedule for daily events.
Whitmore Lake Fireworks will be held on Friday, July 3rd at dusk. The fireworks display will be over beautiful Whitmore Lake. Watch the fireworks from across from the Green Oak Township Post Office and on the lake.
Plymouth Township Fireworks will be held on Friday, July 3rd at 10:15 pm in the township park. There will also be a Good Old Fashioned Picnic on July 4th at 4pm also in the Township Park. If you have never visited downtown Plymouth, consider eating at one of many fantastic restaurants and walking around the charming downtown area before heading to the fireworks.
Gregory Parade and Fireworks will commence at dusk on Saturday, July 4th. This Livingston County free event kicks off with an annual parade that starts on M-106 at Noon. There will be fun activities for the entire family all day long followed by an amazing fireworks display at dusk.
Fowlerville Fireworks will take place at dusk on Saturday, July 4th at the Fowlerville Fairgrounds and Community Park. The downtown parade begins at 7 pm and there will be live entertainment from 8 pm until 10 pm. Enjoy fun for all ages, from the classic car show to the children’s carnival at First Baptist Church. There is a nominal, $5 per car donation.
